Child Safety Week

Child Safety Week – “Safe Children- Together we have got this.”

Monday 3rd June until Sunday 9th June 2019.

Looking holistically at the theme this year of “Family Life –What’s the Risk” the campaign is aimed at reducing the number of children and young people killed disabled or seriously injured in preventable accidents. The campaign will also work towards securing a safer environment for children of all ages, so they can live life to the full while protected from serious injury or death.  The week will see partners working together to promote safety messages across the borough in a fun and engaging way.

A key event during the week will take place at Cleadon Park Primary Care Centre, Prince Edward Road, South Shields on Wednesday 5thJune 2019 1.30pm – 3pm. The Mayor will be in attendance and there will be a range of services and resources. All professionals and members of the community are welcome to attend.
